Inmold labels (IML) is a labeling technique that used during blow molding and injection molding processes, and also thermo-formed containers. IML have a heat activated adhesive applied to them that is activated during the application process. The label becomes molded to the container’s surface. This type of label eliminates the need for a separate labeling process, which saves the cost of additional labeling equipment and the additional labor to apply it.

Heat transfer label uses a special type of heat reactive material during the labeling process, the printing design will transfer into the container’s surface. This labeling process is very common in printing plastic containers. This key advantages of this process are very short time-to-process and high quality graphic printing. The printed design also sticks very well on plastic container’s surface.
